An unwilling mother and housewife, Mercy is unprepared to deal with the demands her family and society has placed on her. Turning to drugs and the dregs of California’s High Desert as an escape, her world disintegrates as she struggles with the chaos she has created. Incapable of taking responsibility for her actions, she abuses and alienates those who would try to help, and those who love her most.

Mercy is the tale of one woman’s descent into drug fueled madness, the reverberating impact it has on the world around her, and the powerful courage it takes to leave her behind.

DHR is an oil painter and fiction writer originally from Southern California (the shitty part). He now lives in the frozen hellscape of Central Wisconsin, and at least partially responsible for causing Working Class Publishing to exist.
